REPLACES AMERIMAX, E285, ATWOOD STYLE LATCHES
There are several manufactures of this type of latch. Unlike many, this particular model utilizes durable polycarbonate for the lever/latch making them the strongest available.
Be sure to measure your existing mounting holes to assure a no drill installation. However, if need be, this latch will work on most doors with little or no modification.
Due to the fact that we sell both Left and Right side Latch kits, please pay close attention to the included drawing to assure you purchase the correct latch.
Screw hole center dimensions:
Lever/ Latch: 3 3/32”
Striker: 1 9/16”
Outside door catch: 3/4”
NOTE:
This latch will NOT WORK with our (or the original) Inside screen door handle that replaces the Atwood #10-15296A. (our #15296D available here)
